‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.’
- Mark 12:31

Redeemer Church Nottingham

Redeemer Church Nottingham is a new church, meeting at the Beeston Youth and Community Centre, which launched in September 2017.

The people who launched Redeemer all came from Cornerstone Church Nottingham (on Castle Boulevard) to start a church to the west of Nottingham. The name ‘Redeemer’ refers to the fact that in the Bible, Jesus Christ is referred to as our redeemer. Whether you are a committed Christian or just enquiring about the Christian faith, you are very welcome to join us.

Through Cornerstone we are affiliated to the FIEC (the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches).

Redeemer is led by our minister and elder Pete Brown along with two other elders: Jonny Graham and Simon Lister. Together they are responsible for overseeing the church and leaders within Redeemer. They take the lead in strategic decision making and prayer.

The Redeemer Elders have appointed a leadership group to support the ministries of the church. Pete chairs leadership group meetings and is the contact point for evangelism and children & youth, Jonny is engaged with pastoral care and Simon with international ministry and operations.

Those currently serving in this group are, Sébastien & Madeleine Bonicel - International work, Kate Caldwell - Pastoral care, James & Katie Clay - Evangelism, Lindsay Hutchinson - Operations and Claire Lister - Children and Youth.
