We meet every Sunday at 10:30am - everyone welcome

We encourage you to use sustainable forms of transport whenever possible. To support you in your own green initiatives, there are large numbers of secure cycle spaces on site and the church is located near main bus routes and a tram stop.

Travelling By Public Transport:

From Beeston Centre Tram and Bus Stops

The nearest tram stop is Beeston Centre, on line 3 (Hucknall - City Centre - Toton).
Buses from Beeston Centre are:
- 36 (NCT)
- indigo (TrentBarton)
- 18 (CT4N)

From there, with the shops to your right, walk towards The Square and the raised platform. Turn left, facing The Last Post pub and then right before you reach it. Continue along Foster Avenue towards Roundhill School, past the residential houses and the Catholic church on your left. We are the last building on the left before the school, directly opposite Beeston Library. This is approximately a five-minute walk.

Travelling By Car:

For a Sunday Morning Service

Because Redeemer doesn’t have a dedicated car park, on Sunday Mornings we ask visitors to use the Devonshire Avenue Car Park. This is directly behind the church building, about halfway along Devonshire Avenue. The car park is unrestricted on Sundays, so there is no need to pay and display. It has 76 spaces, including 3 spaces for blue badge holders. Please note that visitors with limited mobility will need to walk the length of the building to reach the main entrance, approximately 70 yards.

There is limited on-street parking on Foster Avenue; however, we encourage those spaces to be reserved for individuals with mobility difficulties, those with crèche-aged children, and those visiting us for the first time.

Foster Avenue Cark Park is approximately 150 yards away. This car park is also unrestricted on Sundays.

During the week (Mon - Fri) and evenings

If you are visiting us during the week, we encourage you to use the various car parks in the Beeston area, many of which are just a short walk away. The nearest free car park is the Sainsbury’s, with three hours of free parking.

Devonshire Avenue car park is permit holders only Monday to Friday, 7 am - 6 pm, so please do not park here during the week. Foster Avenue car park is pay and display from 8 am - 10 pm, Monday to Saturday inclusive. Further information about parking in the local area can be found here.

On-street parking is available around Park Street, and the church building can be accessed via the cut-through alongside Roundhill School. However, we ask that those choosing to park here are respectful of our neighbours and cars left there are done so at the owner’s risk.

If you have arranged to meet with someone during the week and require parking due to limited mobility, please inquire when you make your appointment.

In the evenings, there is limited on-street parking on Foster Avenue after 6 pm. Devonshire Avenue car park is also unrestricted after this time.

Accessibility

We aim to make our Sunday church services accessible and inclusive to everyone. The building is easily accessible, with step-free access from the rear car park and from Foster Avenue.

We have accessible toilets on both our ground and first floors, and a lift is available for those who need to use it to access our first floor. We also provide a T-loop system.

Please ask the Welcome team if you require any assistance, or send us an email if you want to know more.
