CHILDREN AND YOUTH
‘WE WILL TELL THE NEXT GENERATION THE PRAISEWORTHY DEEDS OF THE LORD” Psalm 78:4
Children and Families
A warm welcome to Parents and Carers looking for information about our Children’s Ministries!
We aim to provide a safe space for children and young people to discover a faith in Jesus for themselves and to learn to follow him, while having fun and building friendships in church.
It is our hope that the time we spend with the children will support and encourage families to spend time in discipleship together.
At Redeemer we love working with children and young people and want to encourage them to be thinking about the big questions of life, even from an early age. We teach the Bible through a variety of age appropriate methods.

Our youth are split into two groups: Year 7-9 and Year 10-13.
On the third Sunday of every month, our youth stay in the main service and listen to the sermon, before having the chance for Q&A in a discussion group afterwards.
We encourage our Youth to get involved in serving in the church. Please speak to us about this.

On the Connect Form there is an opportunity to let us know of any allergies, special diets or medical needs we need to be aware of. in our groups the children will share a drink and snack so do let us know if we can make any adjustments for you.

We believe that the church is a family made up of people of all different ages. Because we recognise the importance of worshipping together, the children stay in for the first part of the service.
After half an hour or so, the children leave for their groups.
Our groups are divided according to age. Each group has a team leader as well as other teachers and helpers.
At the end of the service children will either need to be collected from their group (children in Year groups below Year 3) or they will make their own way back to join you.
Please be aware that parents/carers are responsible for their children once the sermon has ended. Children should be supervised at all times. Our church is an open space so please make sure you know where they are at all times.
